Mathematics & Measuring

In this course you will learn:

A summary of the basic mathematics required of skilled trades people in industrial environments, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, the use of decimals, and conversion of fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.

You will also learn the use of accurate measurements using a tape measure or ruler. This lesson provides guidance on the use of these critical tools for both standard and engineering units. An understanding of how to convert between fractions and decimals is necessary to fully grasp this material.
